Labor Law Clerk
Location: McLean

Years of Experience: Two years of law school
The McLean, Virginia office of Hunton & Williams is actively recruiting for part-time (8-20 hours/week) law clerks entering their third year of law school to assist attorneys principally in the writing of position statements in response to charges filed with the EEOC and state and local agencies in employment discrimination cases and in cases before the National Labor Relations Board. Qualified candidates should possess a four-year college degree and have successfully completed two years of course work at an accredited law school with at least a “B” cumulative average. They should have a demonstrated interest in labor and/or employment law as shown by the candidate’s completing of relevant school courses and/or engaging in relevant employment during the summers and part-time during the school year. Experience assisting in the litigation of civil cases in court, as a judicial intern, or as an editor of a law review also qualifies. Qualified candidates must have excellent written, oral communication and legal research skills as well as the ability to pay attention to detail, to be diplomatic, and to work under pressure.
